Information, advocacy and support

AEAS actively supports schools, English language providers, education agents and other key stakeholders through advocacy, training and information sharing.

For Australian schools, this includes

  • information on key source markets for international school student recruitment
  • strategic marketing advice, tailored to key markets
  • introduction to international education events, assisting schools to develop a strategy that will meet their short, medium and long term objectives
  • referral to school focussed marketing consultants who can work with schools to develop a comprehensive international education program from design to CRICOS registration to implementation
  • introduction to education agents in key source markets, with schools then being responsible for their own due diligence prior to forming agreements
  • regular seminars for schools on hot topics
  • advocacy and active support in relation to development and evaluation of Australian and State government policies, and the impact of significant events such as COVID-19.

For education agents, this includes

  • introduction to Australian schools
  • facilitation of new relationships between education agents and Australian schools
  • seminars, workshops and agent training focussed on the Australian school sector and AEAS services.

I’ve being sitting in on a range of webinars during COVID-19, but the AEAS updates are always the most meaningful and immediately useful!

I appreciate the work you are all doing to try and get us up and running again, and am thankful that the needs of the student are still front and centre in all the initiatives being put forward.

Amanda Douglas, Head of ELPP, Wesley College, Melbourne
Thank you for all the work and time you have invested in this advocacy. It is a good summary of all the challenges currently faced by the school sector.
You and the team deserve enormous credit!
