Online Practice Tests

Online English Practice Tests are available for students entering Years 10-12*, Years 7-9* and Years 4-6*

(*based on Australian and USA year levels)

Online Practice Tests include all five English sub tests – Reading, Vocabulary, Listening, Writing and Speaking.

Scores are automatically generated for – Reading, Vocabulary and Listening.  Students can review their results for these sub tests immediately.

Select to have Writing and/or Speaking tests marked by a qualified AEAS Marker for an additional fee of AUD$25.00 per sub test.  Scores are available for these sub tests within three working days of submitting the completed test.

If you have purchased an AEAS Online Practice Test before and want to log in to complete it, or you wish to purchase another one, click the button below to log into your Student Portal.  You will need your Student ID and password to proceed.

PLEASE NOTE:  The online tests CANNOT be taken using a mobile device such as a mobile phone or tablet.  Using a personal computer or a laptop, AEAS strongly recommends using Chrome as your browser when taking the online test.  Other browsers may cause communication problems that disrupt your progress.  AEAS cannot take responsibility for tests that were unable to be completed using another browser. DO NOT USE SAFARI BROWSER.

Quick and easy online registration
Choose to take the test now or later (within 5 days of purchase).
Each sub test (Reading, Vocabulary, Listening, Writing, Speaking) must be completed within the specified test time. Each sub test time is the same as an AEAS Test.
Students can log out at the completion of each sub test, and log back in to take the next sub test at another time or on another day. All five sub tests must be completed within 5 days of purchase.
As students complete each sub test, they can review their answers immediately. For Reading, Vocabulary and Listening sub tests, students can also immediately see their scores.
On completion of all five sub tests, an email will be sent to the student confirming their results, including the results for any Writing or Speaking sub tests that have been marked by an AEAS Marker.
Scores are presented as the number correct out of the total number of items in each test.
