On Friday 21 May, AEAS held its first face to face event since the pandemic begin.

Hosted by St Leonard’s College in Melbourne, over 60 representatives from some of Victoria’s best private schools, the Victorian Department of Education and Training, and business gathered at the AEAS International Education Seminar & Networking Opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and make new, post-COVID connections.

Those in attendance heard from a range of speakers who shared examples of the care and support they have offered to their international students during COVID. No doubt, many of the ideas and approaches presented will spark initiatives at other schools, which is the core purpose of these types of events.

Although Australia’s international education industry is facing extreme existential challenges because of COVID, now, more than ever, the schools and businesses that make up the education ecosystem are committed to ensuring better outcomes for students by working closely with one another.

AEAS is proud to have supported and advocated for schools throughout the pandemic, and is extremely grateful for the support that has been shown back to us during some incredibly difficult times. That 80% of CRICOS registered Australian schools prefer an AEAS Report is an enormous vote of confidence in the integrity, validity and reliability of our products and services.

We now look forward to our next school seminar to be held in Sydney on Thursday 10 June at Wenona School in North Sydney. We warmly invite NSW and ACT schools to attend what promises to be another fantastic opportunity to reconnect. You can register for this event by clicking here.
