What is included in an AEAS Test?

The AEAS Test is more than an English language proficiency test

The AEAS test includes three sections

  1. English Language Proficiency (2 hours)
  2. Mathematical Reasoning Ability (30-45 minutes)
  3. Non Verbal General Ability  (30 minutes approximately)

The combined assessment provides a comprehensive English and ability profile for each student.

Results can indicate a student’s suitability for the year level applied for, and also areas where they may need support. Both are critical issues when students are changing school systems, academic calendar years and/or language of instruction.

Testing takes approximately three hours.
