This exhibition will be held on the weekend following the Hong Kong exhibition and the Kuala Lumpur exhibition. Schools can participate in exhibitions in three countries during one international trip.
This exhibition is held as a cocktail party with students and parents invited to enjoy the hospitality while also having an opportunity to talk with Australian school representatives. It is an excellent event that attracts Thai families that are very serious in their intent to send their child to Australia to study.
Comments from Australian school representatives in 2008 included:
This was by far the most professionally organised exhibition I have had the pleasure to take part in.
Outstanding exhibition. I particularly liked the cocktail style - very nice atmosphere.
Excellent food and catering for visitors which encouraged them to stay longer.
Thank you all for the wonderful experience while in Bangkok recently. The exhibition you organised was indeed one of the most organised and well formatted I have ever attended. So congratulations and thank you to the team.
CETA also organise a school tour on the day prior to the exhibition. In 2008, Australian school representatives visited two university demonstration schools and a leading Thai Catholic school. These schools were chosen to show the different models of Thai education. The school visits contributed to the possibility of future programs between Australian and Thai schools.
This event is only able to accommodate a limited number of Australian schools and was oversubscribed this year. Some schools missed out - so please confirm your participation as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Please note that schools participating in this exhibition will be required to pay a commission to CETA if students are successfully enrolled as a result of the exhibition.
